How to install the L!FE Beta.
Follow these steps on your iPhone
1. Check you’re ready
You need:
An iPhone with a recent version of iOS. We recommend using latest version of iOS 26.
An Apple ID (the one you use for the App Store).
The TestFlight invite email we sent you.
If you can’t see the invite email, check Junk/Spam and any “Promotions” folders.
2. Open the TestFlight invite on your iPhone
On your iPhone, open the email with the subject similar to:
“L!FE has invited you to test this app” (or from TestFlight / Apple).
Tap the button or link in the email that says “View in TestFlight” or “Start Testing”.
Your iPhone will open the App Store and show the TestFlight app (if you don’t already have it).
3. Install TestFlight
In the App Store, tap Get (or the download icon) to install TestFlight.
Wait for TestFlight to finish installing.
When the install is done, tap Open.
If you already have TestFlight installed, it will just open instead of asking you to install.
4. Accept the L!FE Beta invitation
Once TestFlight opens:
You should see L!FE listed as an available app to test.
Tap Accept or Start Testing.
TestFlight will now show a page for L!FE with an Install button.
If TestFlight asks you to sign in, use your normal Apple ID.
5. Install L!FE
On the L!FE page in TestFlight, tap Install.
Wait while the app downloads and installs.
When the button changes to Open, tap it to launch L!FE.
(You’ll also find L!FE on your home screen like a normal app.)
6. First launch: turn on Health access
When you open L!FE for the first time:
Follow the on-screen onboarding steps.
When iOS shows the Health Access screen:
Turn ON the options you’re comfortable sharing with L!FE
(for example: glucose, insulin, carbs, activity, sleep, weight – depending on what you use).
Tap Allow at the top-right to confirm.
L!FE will then start reading your data from Apple Health.
If you skip this by mistake, you can fix it later:
Settings app → Privacy & Security → Health → L!FE and turn on the data types you want.
7. Keeping L!FE up to date
When there’s a new beta version, TestFlight will show an Update button next to L!FE.
Either:
Open TestFlight occasionally and tap Update, or
Turn on Automatic Updates inside the L!FE page in TestFlight.
We recommend you always run the latest build. Old builds may expire or miss important fixes.
8. If something doesn’t work
No invite email?
Check spam/junk. If it’s not there, contact us at LIFE@vitaOS.co.uk.
Link opens on your laptop?
Ignore that and open the same email on your iPhone instead.
TestFlight says “No longer accepting testers” or “This build is unavailable”?
We may have closed that build. Email us and we’ll confirm the current status.
App crashes or won’t open?
Try:
Closing L!FE and reopening it.
Restarting your iPhone.
Updating to the latest build in TestFlight.
If it still fails, send a screenshot and short note via TestFlight feedback or email.
